Really nice sounds, what piano vst you using? Sounds really good.

Nightsung responds:

It's just the default FL keys, but I compressed and modified it a bit!

You have a literally incredible talent for this type of music. Things I don't like: It's too short. That's it.

You should carry on exploring. The command you have over composition is unreal, and considering you're still in school (from what I gather) that's really well done.

Really looking forward to what you do next.

Step responds:

Wow man, thanks for all the big compliments! Yeah I'm 16 so I'm still in school but I started music at an early age (nearly 13) so I do have a few years of experience.

And as I said to SkyeWintrest below me, I can't make it longer since this is for a school project and the leader of the team I'm in requested for it to be around this duration. Still, I have plenty of other longer songs like Sanctuary or the other Morocco track I have submitted if you're interested, although they're all in different styles from this one.

Still, thanks a lot for the support. I really appreciate it. You've got some awesome music submitted too!

Fantastic piece of music. There's an incredible amount of instruments and ideas going on here. I literally cannot begin to explain how good I think this is. Within 20 seconds it reminded me of a lot of games (assassin's creed, civilization, etc) but done to a whole new level.

This is a seriously good piece of music. And considering it's only 1:50 long, it covers a lot of ground in a short time.

Fantastic, 10/10.

Step responds:

Wow man, you came out of nowhere and reviewed two of my tracks with really supportive reviews. I honestly can't thank you enough!

I'm really glad you like it; this is going to be used for the cinematic introduction in our play so I did try to fit in a lot of elements to give it a 'big epic' feel.

Thanks again!

Interesting stuff. Nice beat that. I'd say it's more like IDM than trance? Still good though.

wulfsok responds:

Had never heard of it till you mentioned it. It was a bit of a challenge trying to put a genre to what I've been doing lately. Thanks mate!

I like this, reminds me of Sonic or Mario, and where the instruments aren't particularly my thing it's a really good piece of music, nice one.

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you! I'm not sure if Sonic is going to be one for sparkles, glitter and rainbows (Mario's a little more that type). Glad you liked it! : )

Cool stuff, liked all the different sounds, and the shuffly beats. Well nice.

I like it. Some parts sound a bit too detuned for me but I it's interesting to listen to.

BuggMusic responds:

not sure which bit you're talking about... but thanks for the review!

Nice stuff. Reminds me of massive attack, but more of the music to Postal, you should extend it. Good work.

UnholySeer responds:

Thank you. I will work more on such atmospheres.

I really love everything about this except...

The drums. I really really like this tune. But I really don't like the kick, it's really off-putting. But I voted 5 because I enjoyed the song and the synths, you almost don't need a beat to it. 8/10 stars because of the drums, but 5/5 voted.

crg41890 responds:

lol your totally right, i agree. thanks though i appreciate it.

Not too shabby

Some good bass sounds. Really don't like the ever-present sub-drone though, not my thing, and drum beat isn't really my thing, kick sounds a bit too nasal. Not too bad though

laursaur responds:

Thanks for the reply, ive been having issues with the kick :/ i tried everything but its either too nasal or too reverrb'y. ill try to fix that in upcoming tracks.
